Hi Katharine!  Thanks for the lovely positive comment. I dabble in all sorts of work , from textiles to painting boxes and making decorations. I try to make things out of reclaimed fabrics and home grown herbs where possible. I will post more examples when I get the time and inclination! And as for crafting being subversive, you're absolutely right, it's a great way of stinking fingers up at the establishment if you can make things yourself! I'd love to be completely self-reliant and not need 'them' at all, but I guess that is a pipe-dream for someone who is still a wage slave. Keep striving though!
