I know human beings have survived quite a long time through many challenging climates, however it seems we may be on track to obliterate ourselves and most more advanced species (i.e. perhaps not the algae, bacteria...).  I know the jury is out on that, and it won't happen within the remaining 30-40 years of my life, although much will undoubtedly happen in that time frame, but I care about life beyond my own.…
