Late Megabus

I came to the Dark Mountain Festival as an arty person wanting to have the intellect part of myself filled in.  I wanted facts,  I ear wigged fantastic erudites with their the first cup of coffee of the day, talking about the country's infra structure, the extent of bank fraud, the crazy tax system,  the effects of the global economy. I asked a few people to explain it more and  several people gave me a basic lesson. Profile Information

I used to be an actor but after 20 years I wanted to work with writers and started a new writing company to put on plays about things which "mattered". I evolved into being a theatre director and I mostly do new plays. I work in spaces as varied as the Bath Theatre Royal, the RSC Swan to a room above a pub. I live in Bristol.
What drew you to the Dark Mountain Project?
It was my son Nick who wrote a couple of pieces for your new book who told me about Dark Mountain, and I read your manifesto and thought ..good, at last.
