I'm just a blow in living in a 1 PUB village Rachel. I can assure you that having a nice chat with someone that I may have something in common with would be very welcome event for me. Although I feel that after 2 and 1/2 years of a pretty isolated existence my ability to chat has pretty much gone flat. I can be a good listener though.
Getting into Dublin is no problem for me on a weekend. [I have an old guy free pass for trains and buses.]

Hi there, Rachel - best way to come initially is to do an Experience Week - a really good intro to the community and the weeks run most weeks of the year. Other than that, you can just find accommodation in the ecovillage or the neighbouring village and hang out. However, you would develop a much more thorough understanding and it would be likely to be far more fun if you did an EW. Look under Programmes on the Findhorn website.

Yeah, me too. I missed a few people that I really wanted to see before they left, yourself included. Not enough time to chat, as with Dougie, but if you either find yourself in NE England or the next Unciv then it'll be great to spend more time together. Not sure if I'll be heading abroad in the next few months, but if the Emerald Isle is on my path, then I'll be sure to give you a shout.
