My current body of work draws, in part, upon my conviction that artwork can be a catalyst to ground individuals in the here and now. Vacillating between landscape and abstraction, these works are of my place -- the Pacific Northwest.

- A Paul Kingsnorth article in Orion Magazine drew me in -- I found a resonance with the concepts I have been wrestling at the easel.
