The Nourish Scotland Annual Conference 2011 will bring together parties interested in Local Food from all over the UK for Wonderful Workshops, Spectacular Speakers, Luscious Local Food and a Cracking Ceilidh!

HUSTINGS EVENT
On Saturday we'll be hosting a Hustings, with political representatives from a wide range of parties taking your questions on the issues surrounding Local Food.
The programme will run from 10am until 8pm on the Friday and from 9am to 5pm on the Saturday. We'll be having a big Ceildh on the Friday evening from 8 'til late!

FREE CHILDCARE AND CHILD TICKETS!!
This year we have Free Childcare to covering the Friday and Saturday care of GERA's Mobile Play Team who'll be running food related workshops and arts and crafts activities for the younger delegates. Please choose a ticket corresponding to each child's age as above when booking so we can plan Childcare numbers in advance.

LOCATION
The conference will be held at the Pearce Institute in Govan, Glasgow. The Pearce is a fantastic venue, with plenty of room for networking and breakout sessions. It's right across the street from the Subway, is wheelchair accessible and has a Hearing Induction Loop.

12 Lunch followed by Keynote Speaker
2pm Workshops x 4
3.30pm Tea Break

5pm Films/Networking/Open Space
6.30pm Evening Meal followed by Communal Cleaning
8pm The Big Ceilidh

9am Tea and Coffee
9.30am Workshops x 4
10.30am Tea and Home Baking/Demonstrations/Poster Session
11.30am Nourish: The Way Forward - Group Session with all Delegates
12.30pm Lunch
1.30pm Keynote Speaker
2pm Workshops x 4
3pm Tea Break
3.30pm Hustings and Discussion
5pm Close

ACCOMODATION
We've negotiated a 40% discount off Standard Rates at the Swallow Hotel, Ibrox for our members. The room rates after discount are £25 per person Bed and Breakfast for a double room and £35 per person B and B for a single. To book call 08430 554433 and Quote the Discount Code 'NOURISH'.

Thanks for posting this - looks like it should be a great event! I think you need to edit the dates on the event posting, though - at the moment it's saying it happened yesterday. :-)
