Event Description

The second regular meetup in London to provide a crossing point for people involved with Dark Mountain, the Institute for Collapsonomics, Space Makers and other associated projects. The first one was attended by about 20 people altogether.

Dougald's blurb from last week: "I'm keen on the idea of a weekly event - not because I expect the same people to come every week, but because it's the most complex repeating pattern that most of us can remember without having to use a diary! ("It's Wednesday evening, the Dark Mountain gang will be hanging out on the Southbank.") Also, if you're not there for a couple of weeks, it's easy to drop in again and pick up where you left off - whereas if it's a monthly event and you miss a couple of months, that's a long time.

The catch is, I can't promise to be there every single week - so it'll depend on how willing others are to share the (fairly light) responsibility of hosting."

Practical stuff:

We'll be on the 5th floor balcony at the Royal Festival Hall by 5.30.

You can get drinks and food at their bar/cafe, but they don't mind you hanging out and not spending any money.
