Join us for a weekend gathering in a beautiful corner of Galloway, 15th to 18th October. This is an opportunity for those interested in and inspired by the DMP, to meet and carry forward some of the conversations begun at the first 'Uncivilisation' festival in May. There will be time given to both formal talks and open debates, as well as music, walks, saunas, and fires. Laurieston Hall also presents a good example of a smallholding which strives towards self-sufficiency and co-operative living, and there will be opportunities to explore and discuss many of our practices. On the Saturday night we have planned a 'performance' in the woods!
There will be a limit to numbers, so advance booking is necessary. A charge of £30 per person will cover all food, fuel, and accommodation costs for the weekend. Laurieton Hall intends to make no money from the event, our aim being simply to cover costs.
